Look closely at what needs to go inside before settling on a layout. Drawers work best for flatware, linens and small electronics, while tall cabinets with adjustable interior shelves handle cereal boxes and stockpots. If you are placing a tall bookcase or pantry against drywall, plan to set the included wall anchor into a stud so the case rests solid and true against the trim.

The size of this very sturdy, heavy sideboard cabinet is impressive, and it offers so much storage. I bought it for its plentiful storage options, needing more for pantry items and kitchen linens. I love its height, and the dark woodgrain top on the farmhouse style white base. The top offers a nice display and mail catch-all station.
I needed something to offer more storage in my kitchen and breakfast room area, on a wall where it would be large enough to not look silly by itself, but not so large that it overtook the space. This was easy to assemble and looks great. I did it myself in just a couple of hours.
