No account, no basket, no form

There is nothing here to sign up for. We do not run a checkout, we ask for no name, address or card, and there is no contact form that quietly stores what you typed. The only way to reach us is by writing to the address below, and then we hold exactly what you chose to send.

What the site puts on your device

Nothing that follows you. The pages use no advertising or analytics cookies and no tracking pixels. Choices you press on the wall fit bench live in the page while it is open and are gone when you close the tab. Our host records ordinary server logs, including the address of the request and the page asked for, which is how any web server works and how outages get diagnosed.

When you leave for the shop

A buy button opens a listing at our retail partner. From the moment that page loads, you are on their site under their privacy policy, and their cookies apply rather than ours. The link carries a reference that lets them attribute the visit to this site. It identifies the site, not you: we receive no name, no address and no card detail, and we cannot see what you looked at or bought.

Email

Mail sent to us stays in the mailbox until the question is settled, then it is deleted. We do not add correspondents to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list. If you want an earlier message removed, ask, and it goes.

Asking us anything about this

Write to [email protected]. Since we hold nothing but the mail you sent us, most requests come down to deleting a thread, which we can do the day you ask.
